If someone knowingly gets a stolen computer or phone, they can be punished. This means if you buy a phone and know it was stolen, you could face jail time or a fine.

Imprisonment up to 3 years, or fine up to ₹1 lakh, or both.

A buys a laptop from B, knowing B stole it. A is guilty under this section.
