🗣️ Simple Explanation

If someone creates a fake document that looks like a valuable security (like a bond or share certificate), a will, or a power of attorney, they've committed forgery. This is a serious crime. They can be sent to jail for a long time and also have to pay a fine.

⚖️ Punishment

Imprisonment for life, or imprisonment up to 10 years, and fine.

💡 Real Life Example

A creates a fake share certificate of a company to sell it and make money. This is forgery under this section.
