If someone does something for you or gives you something, not as a gift, and you benefit from it, you have to pay them back or return the thing. It's like if someone fixes your car without asking for free, and you use it, you should pay them.
💡 Real Life Example
A, a tradesman, leaves goods at B's house by mistake. B uses the goods. B is bound to pay A for the goods.
🛡️ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
- •You are not obligated to pay for something you didn't ask for and didn't benefit from.
- •If you benefit from someone's work or goods, you usually have to pay.
