🗣️ Simple Explanation

Undue influence means someone uses their power over another person to unfairly make them agree to a contract. This could be a boss over an employee, or a doctor over a patient. If this happens, the contract can be cancelled.

💡 Real Life Example

A, a religious guru, convinces his devotee B to donate all his property to the ashram, using his spiritual influence. This is undue influence, and B can cancel the donation.

🛡️ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
  • You have the right to cancel a contract if someone used undue influence to get your consent.
  • Be aware of people who might try to take advantage of your vulnerability.
