🗣️ Simple Explanation

If someone is facing domestic violence, they can ask a Magistrate (a judge) for help. They can file an application, either themselves, through a Protection Officer, or someone else on their behalf, to get orders to stop the violence.

💡 Real Life Example

A woman, A, is being abused by her husband, B. A can file an application to the Magistrate, asking for protection orders to stop B from harassing her.
