🗣️ Simple Explanation

This section explains how to appeal a court's decision. If you lose a case in the first court, you can usually appeal to a higher court. However, you can't appeal if you agreed with the court's decision.

💡 Real Life Example

A loses a property case in a lower court. A is unhappy with the decision, so A files an appeal in the High Court. However, if A had agreed to the lower court's decision, A couldn't appeal.

🛡️ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
  • You have the right to appeal a court's decision if you disagree with it.
  • You can appeal even if the original decision was made without you being present (ex parte).
  • You cannot appeal if you agreed to the court's decision.
